Some of you may be saying, "what is SHABBAT"...?.... or "oh yeah I have heard of that - it's JEWISH right?!" Well Shabbat is Hebrew for "Sabbath" and the practice of keeping it holy every week - IS ACTUALLY JUST IN THE BIBLE!! Remember the 4th Commandment in The 10 Commandments? Jesus (His Hebrew name "Yeshua") tells us to "do and observe whatever they tell you" (He's speaking of the PHARISEES - can you believe it!? Check it out in Matthew 23: 1-4 but He is only referring to what they teach from the Seat of Moses) ....what were they teaching? The Scrolls - (we know some of those Scrolls as the first 5 books of the Bible) - In Leviticus 23:1-3 is the command, to keep the Sabbath, the 7th day, sundown Friday to sundown Saturday, (we will explain why it is from sundown to sundown, later.) For now - enter into Shabbat! ENJOY!! REST! Learn how to spend the day with YHVH that HE wants YOU to spend with Him!! If you have never done it before, just start with committing to not working for income or on chores, resting, studying the Bible, and praying from Friday sundown to Saturday sundown in your timezone, see what a difference it makes in your life!! (By the way, don't listen to the LIES that if you do this "you're diminishing the sacrifice of Jesus because you are trying to work for your salvation." Check out the Gospels and see all the verses talking about how Yeshua Himself celebrated Shabbat and often brought the Supernatural healing on that day!!)
